I chose my newest "incarnation" as pushmi-pullyu. For those not familiar with the stories of Dr. Dolittle, he was the only two-headed animal in the world. I identify with many attributes that Mr. Lofton gave him, and at the moment, it seems fitting for me.
Being able to see in front of and behind himself at the same time is something that I have developed a talent for doing in a mental sense over the past while. It allows me to be surprised by people much less often than I used to be. To the credit of some, however, I can still be caught on the side.
That he chose (for the most part) to speak with only one of his mouths out of politeness is a small, but important, part of what he was; and an attirbute that I claim as my own as well, being able to speak from different views.
Initially, I had thought of being Janus, but the presumption at divinity was a bit more than I am comfortable with, although I do believe that everyone is divine in their own right and that the majority of titles are presumptious, at best (no offence to the Sirs out there). However, that is a rant best saved for a different time, or at least a different article.
